Welcome to the Resource links, which we have collected for building understanding of the Israeli & Palestinian people, their respective narratives, and political conflict.
After reading news and analysis for many years and living in Bethlehem for 15 months, we recognize that the dynamics of the Palestinian / Israeli conflict are complex and deeply nuanced. However, we also believe that Jesus called us to be peace-makers.
As such, we believe we should not consider the conflict to be intractable, nor give up hope for building peaceful relations between the parties in the conflict.
We also believe that it has not been helpful for those outside of the conflict to project their various political, theological, or prophetic frameworks onto the conflict. This typically triangulates persons into supporting only one side or the other.
We hope that the resources we've collected will help you develop a fuller empathy and appreciation for the people living in the Holy Land and inform you in praying and advocating for a just peace in the region
